Summer is a time for fresh starts and new beginnings, so it’s no surprise that the nail art trends are changing up as well.  There are many different nail art trends that can be worn this summer, and it’s a great time to update your look or simply try something new. Bold Brights, Colourful Swirls, and Tutti Frutti French Tips: these are the most in-demand summer nail trends according to salon experts.  All these looks have that summery vibe and will certainly help you stand out from the crowd and be noticed.  Which one are you going to try first?

With the temperature rising across the UK, hair and beauty booking app Booksy has been inundated with customers looking to don the latest summer nail trends.

Booksy ambassador and nail artist extraordinaire Alice McNails said: “This summer my clients have been loving colourful nails, with bold brights and punchy pastels proving a big hit. The forever popular French tip is very much still a firm favourite but in an assortment of Tutti-Fruity colours.
“The negative space nail still prevails, a natural nude base with colourful swirls, abstract dashes reminiscent of an artist’s palette or 60’s style Mary Quant flowers.”

Alice adds: “I’m also having a lot of requests for futuristic 3D nails in oil spill chromes or slick high shine finishes. Popular colour combos include cobalt blues mixed with zesty tangerines, lavender and mint soft pastels and delicate translucent nude shades and milky whites.”

Lianne Carty, Booksy merchant and owner of Lillydoll Nails said: “We’re seeing loads of nail art at the moment, especially crocodile print and swirls. Smile lines are also a big hit and chrome is making a comeback!”

Hair and beauty booking app Booksy allows customers to access hair, beauty, and wellness treatments in their local area 24/7 without any of the fuss of back-and-forth phone calls. Once registered and logged in, it takes just ten seconds for users to find and book a suitable, local appointment at a time to suit, streamlining the booking process and saving customers time and hassle.
The Booksy app is free to download and use, and customers have the option to search by service type or location, and even find same-day appointments. Users receive appointment reminder notifications and can cancel or amend their booking without having to contact the salon directly.

Booksy is available to users in the UK and Ireland, USA, Poland, Spain, Brazil and Mexico, and is the brainchild of founders Stefan Batory and Konrad Howard, who started the company after their own personal frustration when trying to book appointments over the phone.
